The heart of Clinic Nepal: The day clinic in Meghauli has been providing patients with outpatient medical care by specialist doctors of various disciplines since 1998.

The heart of Clinic Nepal

The clinic building is located on the edge of Meghauli in an open grove near a jungle area. Surrounded by a garden with flowers, perennials, fruit trees and palms, it comprises several rooms: reception/waiting area, examination rooms, X-ray, medicine storage, laboratory and physiotherapy.

Specialist doctors from Bharatpur

In 1998 the clinic work was started with two nurses and a health assistant. In the meantime a consultation offering with various specialist doctors has developed: several times a week doctors of various specialities come, including general medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, gynaecology and neurology. These doctors otherwise work in the state hospital in Bharatpur, about 20 km east of Meghauli.

Western volunteers

From time to time, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists or midwives from Western countries work in the clinic free of charge. More serious injuries are taken to the hospital in Bharatpur in the clinic's own ambulance.
