One goat changed a life
To help very poor families or single women out of their existential poverty, there was the possibility of a “goat donation”. Through the sale of dairy products or young goats they were enabled to have a subsistence minimum. One goat cost the equivalent of 60 euros.
Goat Giving Ceremonies
The goat donations (Goat Giving Ceremonies) were likewise carried out in remote areas where people are very poor. The female goats could be used by the poor families for further breeding. In this way Clinic Nepal made a significant contribution to self-sufficiency in Nepal.
