Flash flood in Nepal

The Narayani river is in flood, but everyone in Meghauli is safe. Clinic Nepal plans health camps in the flooded areas – donations are welcome.

Nepal is facing a difficult flood situation that is causing damage and hardship in several areas. The Narayani river has risen and is currently in flood, but fortunately the situation in our area is not dangerous at the moment. Everyone at Clinic Nepal in Meghauli is safe. In the current situation, aid for the flood victims is organised exclusively by the state. Aid by private NGOs is not yet permitted. However, Clinic Nepal is planning to hold health camps in the flooded areas in the near future in order to improve the medical care that will certainly still be needed for months. Donations for this are very welcome!
