98 households: health insurance renewed

Clinic Nepal helps families in need renew their government health insurance – 98 households on a single day.

For years, Clinic Nepal has helped poor and economically weak families to enrol in Nepal's government health insurance programme and to renew their insurance. On one action day the insurance of 98 households was renewed. On average each household has three to eight members, so the whole family keeps access to healthcare.

According to Clinic Nepal, an additional NPR 700 per extra family category applies above five members.

Renewals for the new fiscal year 2083/84 are continuing. Insured members who wish to keep their cover are asked to renew soon – the Clinic Nepal office can give more information.
