1. Data protection at a glance
General information
This privacy policy informs you about what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. The protection of your data is important to us; we treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions (GDPR, BDSG) and this privacy policy.
Data collection on this website
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator (see the section “Note on the responsible party” for contact details). We collect some data because you provide it to us – for example when you send us a message via the contact form or by e-mail. Other data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access) is recorded automatically by our hosting provider when you visit the website. We use this data to provide the website without technical errors and to process your enquiries. No automated decision-making takes place.
2. Hosting
We host this website with the provider Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data (including the IP address) is processed in order to deliver the page and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the reliable provision of the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). A data processing agreement exists with the provider (Art. 28 GDPR). The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.
3. General notes and mandatory information
Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions and this privacy policy. This website can generally be used without providing personal data. We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the responsible party
The party responsible for data processing on this website is: Förderkreis Friendship Clinic Nepal e.V., represented by Drs. Andrea and Jan Harder, Bahnhofstraße 4, 78247 Hilzingen, Germany, telephone: 07731 187131, e-mail: clinicnepal@web.de. The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. An informal notice by e-mail to clinicnepal@web.de is sufficient for revocation.
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies. In addition, you have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Please contact the responsible party named above for this purpose.
Data security
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
4. Data collection on this website
Server log files: The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources; the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in technically error-free presentation and security).
Contact: If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process your details (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or point (f) (legitimate interest in answering). We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Analysis tools and third-party tools
This website does not use any analysis, tracking or statistics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and does not set any cookies for advertising or analysis purposes. No social media plugins are embedded – references to our profiles on social networks are mere links that only establish a connection to the respective provider when clicked. Fonts are loaded locally from our server; there is no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).
6. Contact
